DBA

Description

RMantra Solutions Inc, has an opportunity for an experienced, motivated Database Administrator to support healthcare information technology projects for our customers. This position is located on-site with the customer in their Washington, DC office.

Essential Functions and Job Responsibilities

The DBA will be responsible for performing configuration, administration, and monitoring of multiple, complex databases. In addition, the Database Administrator will oversee day to day operations and maintenance support for the system and its end users. The successful candidate will take ownership of assigned tasks and provide daily status updates. Duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Performing database tuning and performance monitoring; tuning database queries
  • Monitoring emails and alerts to action and troubleshoot issues
  • Working as part of a team to provide 24/7 support when required
  • Performing general technical troubleshooting and giving consultation to development teams
  • Assisting developers with database activities
  • Creating database objects (tables, indexes, etc.)
  • Developing database procedures, functions, and triggers
  • Maintaining team documentation
  • Evaluating data quality, consistency, and adherence to standards
  • Participating in production implementation planning

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, electronics engineering, or other engineering or technical discipline
  • 3-5 years of DBA experience with the Oracle database suite, specifically:
    • Understanding of Oracle database (v10 or higher), related utilities, and tools
    • Working knowledge of Oracle data pump utility
    • Experience with:
      • Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE)
      • Oracle Application Express (APEX)
      • PL/SQL
      • Unix shell scripting
  • Knowledge of physical database design
  • Experience in code migration, database change management, and data management through the various stages of the development lifecycle
  • Experience with ERStudio, Oracle OBIEE, Informatica
  • Knowledge of scheduling tools, e.g. Oracle Scheduler, Cron
  • Self-starter that can work independently under general direction in a highly collaborative, team-based environment
  • Outstanding communication skills across multiple cross-functional teams
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines
  • U.S. Citizenship is required as is successfully passing a thorough Government background screening process requiring the completion of detailed forms and fingerprinting

Desired Qualifications:

  • Previous Federal Agency experience
  • IBM Rational toolset experience.

ETL Developer

Description

RMantra Solutions Inc, has an opportunity for an experienced, motivated developer to support healthcare information technology projects for our customers. Working closely with project managers and stakeholders, the ETL Developer will support data warehouse infrastructure, maintenance, integration, and enhancement. This position is located on-site with the customer in their Washington, DC office.

Essential Functions and Job Responsibilities

The successful candidate will work to understand customer needs, validate solutions, and define and create the architectural depictions and documents to ensure seamless integration and address all customer priorities, including performance, functionality, ease of use, and security considerations. Duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Works with Senior ETL Developer to perform Data warehousing, Data modeling, Data integration, Data migration, ETL process, and business intelligence tasks, including recurring and ad hoc reporting
  • Responsible for installing, configuring, developing, and support and maintenance of the BI APPS
  • Develops ETLs using Informatica to facilitate Extraction Transformation and data Load from OLTP systems to OLAP systems
  • Designs schema using KPIs, Fact, Dimensions, Physical, Logical, Alias and Extension tables
  • Creates LDAP authentication to enable Single Sign-on for Users in Development environment leveraging Analytics Repository
  • Use Informatica Mapping Designer to create/update mapping using different transformations required to move data into data warehouse
  • Develop and test systems within an Agile delivery approach that supports incremental development of high-quality, fully tested application component delivery every 2 weeks
  • Conduct acceptance testing, load testing, troubleshooting, and performance tuning as required
  • Actively participate in the full system lifecycle including analysis, planning, implementation, testing, documentation, and operations
  • Have influence and input on the automation testing process
  • Create and maintain documentation
  • Integrate data from various back-end services and databases
  • Write clean, high-quality, high-performance, maintainable code

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, electronics engineering, or other engineering or technical discipline
  • At least 5 years of development experience on both Linux and Unix platforms
  • Experience in Data warehousing, Data Modeling, Data conversion, Data integration, Data Migration, ETL Process, and/or Business Intelligence
  • Experience with large-scale system deployment
  • Self-starter that can work under general direction in a highly collaborative, team based environment
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • U.S. Citizenship is required as is successfully passing a thorough Government background screening process requiring the completion of detailed forms and fingerprinting

Functional Area Analyst

RMantra Solutions Inc, has an opportunity for an experienced, motivated Senior Functional Area Analyst to support healthcare information technology projects for our customers. Working closely with Project Manager, the Senior Functional Area Analyst will analyze business, functional, and technical activities. This position is located on-site with the customer in their Washington, DC office.

Essential Functions and Job Responsibilities

The successful candidate will work with Technical Project Manager and a cross-functional team of users and customers to document and strategize for process improvements for current business processes. Duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Perform analysis of business, functional, and technical activities and events
  • Work with users and customers to document and strategize process improvements for current business processes (business process reengineering)
  • Provide Market research on conditions that impact overall operational efficiency of an organization and identifying symptoms for process improvement
  • Assist with business development activities, such as proposals, white papers, conferences, and other thought leadership materials
  • Responsible for identifying and managing risks related to business processes
  • Participate in technical collaboration meetings and brain storming sessions to convey project information, processes, diagrams, and reports to support contractors

Minimum Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in engineering, or a scientific or technical discipline
  • At least 10 years of experience overseeing analysis of business, functional, technical, activities, and events to drive business process improvements
  • Deep knowledge of process and risk management

OBIEE Developer

Description

RMantra is looking for an experienced, motivated OBIEE Developer to support information technology projects for our customers. Working closely with the project manager and senior developers, the OBIEE developer will support data warehouse infrastructure, maintenance, integration, and enhancement. This position is located on-site with the customer in Washington, DC.

Essential Functions and Job Responsibilities

The successful candidate will work with senior developers and a cross-functional team to ensure maintenance and support of critical data warehouse environments as well as develop enhancement solutions that address all customer priorities, including performance, functionality, ease of use, and security considerations. The OBIEE Developer will work with the Project Manager to provide business intelligence (BI) report access support for both ad hoc and recurring reports to support immediate and urgent BI needs of decision makers. Duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Install, upgrade, and configure business intelligence and OBIEE tools
  • Develop and design data modeling concepts using OBIEE tools
  • Develop enterprise dashboards and reports using OBIEE Plus tools
  • Identify critical issues and processing faults to optimize BI dashboards and reports
  • Perform testing sessions for reports and dashboards and resolve process issues
  • Conduct acceptance testing, load testing, troubleshooting, and performance tuning as required
  • Actively participate in the full system lifecycle including analysis, planning, implementation, testing, documentation, and operations

  • Participate in code reviews
