Sr. Java/Full Stack Developer

RMantras is looking for a a Senior Software Developer with strong systems, software, cloud, and Agile experience to support a complex program to provide Agile development and operations and maintenance for critical systems. Based in DevOps framework, participate in and/or direct major deliverables of projects through all aspects of the software development lifecycle including scope and work estimation, architecture and design, coding, and unit testing. the Biometrics Software Developer will support a mission-critical program supporting the Passenger Systems Program Directorate (PSPD). PSPD supports the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and CBP critical missions, specifically screening and processing travelers at the ports of entry (POEs) into the United States.
Participate in software programming initiatives to support innovation and enhancement, using Java, Hibernate, SpringBoot, and Maven. The ideal candidate will have solid core development skills in C++, C#, and C. Additionally, experience with AWS developing, including complete secure integrations, optimization, connectivity, and managed services is a plus. The Software Developer will have knowledge of developing applications using JAVA, JAVAScript, NodeJS, and Angular. The developer will work with the overall program team in the design and development of new applications as well as integrating new solutions into existing applications. The candidate will be able to analyze and solve complex application development needs to identify solutions to include potential new tools/technologies. The candidate should be proficient in application development, including troubleshooting and software upgrades. The Software Developer will also support hardware integration, middleware, and configurations required for production deployments. Experience working in a SecDevOps environment developing within an Agile environment using code delivery mechanisms,such as Maven, Ant, Jenkins, Git, and CI/CD. The Software Developer may support multiple Scrum teams as part of the mission integration efforts.
Requires a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience or a Masters’s degree with a minimum of 6 years of previous relevant experience
