Microsoft SQL Server DBA
- Location: 100% Onsite (Ballston, VA)

Key Role:
Define and oversee database organizations, standards, controls, procedures, and documentation. Provide experienced technical consulting in the definition, design, and creation of a database environment, and provide advice on data-based solutions to business problems and the operation and tuning of databases. Optimize the database (information and server) for network performance, inclusive in the network clusters for replication and access in event of network fail over, and restoration. Ensure the security of the database, software, and hardware are compliant with security measures using the risk management framework and NIST FIPS guidelines. Develop database structure, input forms, and reports for a contact directory and staff request forms.
Basic Qualifications:
- Experience in determining and defining client database requirements
- Experience with SQL Database Administration
- Experience with SQL 2012 version or higher Database
- Experience in Windows Server
- TS/SCI
- Information Assurance Technician (IAC) Level 1 Professional Certification
- Excellent communication skills
Additional Qualifications:
- Experience with SharePoint and SharePoint Servers
- Experience with server failover clusters
- Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server Manager Studio and Windows Server Manager
- Bachelor’s Degree
